Much like our idol, the [https://ncatlab.org/ nLab], the idea is that this wiki offers a space for us to share notes, thoughts, definitions and ideas. It is dedicated primarily to formal/mathematical topics in the scientific study of consciousness, but topics from philosophy, neuroscience and other disciplines are very welcome as well.
For the time being, this wiki is private, so that only registered users known personally to some of the existing users can read and edit. We would like to make it as easy as possible for registered users to contribute, and explicitly encourage posting of preliminary thoughts and partial summaries. If the experiment works, even preliminary pages will improve over time when several different people contribute. On the long run, if the quality of the content is good enough, we could think about making parts of this the wiki could be made accessible to the public. But before any such step is taken we'd be talking to all users and make sure they can delete content they do not want to be publicly accessible.
