Quality spaces are intended to model mental qualities, understood as "the mental properties in virtue
of which an individual can perform perceptual discriminations".
== Definition v1 ==Quality spaces are mathematical spaces that intend need to model "mental qualities". They should have some relation with be distinguished from qualia spaces, presumably though the precise relation is not yet clarified. In general, it seems that the latter qualia spaces would take the specific characterizations or properties of qualia into account, whereas quality spaces only focus on the qualitative nature of conscious experience. Supposedly, then, quality spaces are also special cases of experience spacesrefer to mental qualities as defined above.
